First time with ACE Mechanics, Sam was sent to me, and was shocked with the thorough and detailed job he performed on my Nissan. He checked everything and followed a pre-made list which ensured that everything was done and followed to the tee. He even checked the blinkers and horn! I am very confident he did an excellent job for me, and will definitely be using ACE Mechanics again.

Our son lives in Canberra. He came to see us and his van broke down. He needed to get back home again. Incredible service! Sam is your guy!! I had problem with my Car & I couldn’t get it started. I was unable to move it so I was stuck. I went to two other workshops which didn’t wanted to help me, not even with the towing. Then I called Ace mechanics & I was lucky that I got help from the right guy, Sam! It’s so convenient to get mobile service so I didn’t have to worry about towing, also they showed up the same day! It turned out that it was a problem with my key & that I needed a new one. I got one from a locksmith but the locksmith f**ked it up even worse. Luckily Sam knew how to deal with this problem so he could arrange a new key for me & program it correctly! Now my car is working again & I couldn’t be more happy about it! Many thanks to Sam & Ace mechanics!! I saved a lot of many & stress thanks to their service!

I have had the best experience with Ace Mechanics Melbourne! From their receptionist Nat being wonderful and friendly, fitting me in when matters were urgent and sourcing nothing but the best parts for me. And for Norm too, being crazy enough to do an entire clutch kit in my partner’s driveway! At first I was not happy since it was late and then a not very nice reply from the reception on the phone. Then I realized that they had very busy day and still had come and helped me with the car. I was on a tight schedule so I was a bit nervous. However, everything went well at the end and I am so grateful that you had come to me today. My car broke down on NYE during a long distance drive. ACE mechanics were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make sure my car was fixed and ready to continue on my long journey in such a short space of time over a very busy period. They were thorough, explained everything, were honest and upfront. I really appreciated the level of service they went to and how much attention to detail they had. Not only did they fix my car, they also cleaned the engine and cleaned my car of bugs from my long journey at no extra cost, they made sure to top up all my liquids just to ensure the rest of my journey would be safe. Everybody was super friendly and very genuine. I have not experienced such good service before. I would recommend ACE mechanics to everybody, especially to people needing a new mechanic and anyone travelling from out of town in an emergency.

What can I say?Best experience I ever had.My car broke down when I was coming down from Sydney. As soon as I arrive to Melbourne we called Ace mechanics and we were blown away by their amazing service.They sent one of the best mechanics to my hotel and he checked the car out and booked us In for next day repair. (Even it was a sunday)We arrived to the workshop and found a very professional team who did everything to help us out... We wait in the office and were offered coffee and snacks while we wait.They had car hire and we rent one while our car was getting repair. (Very reasonable price.)Same day later on they called us and informed us about the repairs that needed to be done.I have some mechanical knowledge and trust me it was a very honest quote and they fixed my car so we can head back to Sydney.So if you ever looking for a mechanic trustworthy you defenely need to give them a call and they will take care of everything for you.Thanks guys for your support.

When my car broke down recently, the first thing went across my mind was: When will I get the time to visit a mechanic while I work full-time in CBD. But all that changed last Sunday when I noticed the only open mechanic was Ace and they are indeed mobile! The lady on the phone was professional and helpful. She went the extra mile to find a spot for me on that day. She also called back half-hour before mechanics' arrival to ensure we are at home. The mechanic, Steve, was kind in explaining the ins and outs of my car and his work. He did a thorough inspection and provided a quote for labor and material first before commencing any work. And finally, the service was complete within ~4hours of my call to Ace. Quick service and efficient use of time! Very glad to have found and will call again. Thank you, 4 stars because they are expensive but hey thats the weekend rate! So weigh your pocket first.

First thing on a sunday they were able to get Norm the mechanic out to our house for urgent repairs. He was able to doagnose issue quickly, let us know costs and options for repairs and fixed it promptly to gwt us back on the road. Great service especially on a sunday!!

Absolutely amazing service by Henry the mechanic! He was efficcient, thorough and speedy. He showed me exactly what the problem was and fixed it, he also did extra and checked my radio out for me. I received amazing customer service from both Henry and the call operator. Plus the service was really cheap compared to other mechanics. I will defibitely be using Ace mechanics in the future!.

I got stranded at my boyfriend's place 150km from home with my car over-heating. ACE was friendly and conveniently open on a weekend and does house calls. George removed and refitted my spark plugs and ignition leads. He explained the problem clearly and talked me through the charges before beginning the work. Went for a test drive to check that everything was working properly. Good service!

Absolutely fantastic. My alternator died and I was quoted $580 to fix it and I'd have to get a jump start and drive it to the mechanic and they couldn’t get it done until Monday. These guys came out next day 9am and fixed it in my carapace at my apartment for $450 and it only took him 30 minutes.Can highly recommend these guys and will definitely be using them again.Thanks for the prompt and fantastic service team. You guys rock.

Ace were fantastic. I was able to organise for a car to be serviced for an elderly parent from 200km away, with complete confidence. They came to the house, were very friendly and trustworthy. They explained everything they were doing as well as the costs, giving us a choice to continue with repairs or not. Where necessary to confirm diagnosis he conferred with other ACE mechanics just to make sure. The quality of work was great as was the cost. The convenience of coming to the home at a time that suits every one was great.

ACE mechanics was a fantastic service provided to me. I had car trouble in the morning and contacted RACV, someone was sent out to check the problem, however when they realised that a mechanic was needed, Steve was out that afternoon. Steve was very friendly and extremely helpful, he talked me through the entire process, and explained exactly what the problem was with my car, and how he would would fix it. I did need to wait until the following day for my car to be fixed, as the petrol pump needed for my car had to be ordered, but once again steve was out promptly and got the car up and running again. Wonderful service, and would definitely recommend! Thanks Steve!!

Great Service right from the first phone call. Was told mechanic would arrive between 12 and 2pm and that I would receive a call when on his way.Got the call as promised and John actually arrived half an hour early. Checked problem and was able to rectify within the first half hour.Also gave me some tips on how to prevent happening again.Great job and all on a long weekend.

Best service. I had a brake down on Saturday before Christmas ans expected I would be without a car till after holidays,maybe early January.Rang RACV to be told broken water pump.Phoned Ace Mechanics in desperation, was told they would have a mechanic out next afternoon.He arrived as promised on time and luckily he had a new water pump on board.Fixed and done to my satisfaction in 2 hours. I am fed up with different mechanics I have tried before. My car cranks but would not start. All the previous mechanics did some make over and made the car start for a day or two and it stops working the other day. They didn't find the actual problem. Then I rang to ACE mechanics and Greg was appointed for me. Greg is an awesome car doctor, he inspected the car for like 15 mins and find the actual problem. Had a little trouble with replacing the alternator on my car. Now I'm not a complete idiot with cars, but it seemed I'd gotten in over my head. I phoned them and spoke to their lovely staff who sent Norm over within 30 minutes. Norm's an absolute champion of a guy with a brilliant positive attitude, even when he had to finish the job that I couldn't. He is super friendly and knows his stuff! No mucking around and got the job done and checked over it all to make sure it was right. Was happy to leave me with all the simple stuff to finish off. A genuinely good guy and a very nice phone centre.

My Subaru Forester had broken down so I contacted ACE mechanics via their website, they got back to me straight away. On the day of my appointment I got a phonecall to say the mechanic was on his way. After diagnosing the problem George rang around the Subaru dealerships for price and availability only to be put on hold or told to call back. Rather than standing around waiting for Subaru to call back George went to the Subaru dealership and rang me once he had a price to make sure I wanted to go ahead. An hour later my car was fixed. From the initial contact to my car being fixed everybody I dealt with at ACE mechanics was friendly and kept me informed, I was very happy with the service.

Incredible service! Sam is your guy!! I had problem with my Car & I couldn’t get it started. I was unable to move it so I was stuck. I went to two other workshops which didn’t wanted to help me, not even with the towing. Then I called Ace mechanics & I was lucky that I got help from the right guy, Sam! It’s so convenient to get mobile service so I didn’t have to worry about towing, also they showed up the same day! It turned out that it was a problem with my key & that I needed a new one. I got one from a locksmith but the locksmith f**ked it up even worse. Luckily Sam knew how to deal with this problem so he could arrange a new key for me & program it correctly! Now my car is working again & I couldn’t be more happy about it! Many thanks to Sam & Ace mechanics!! I saved a lot of many & stress thanks to their service!

What can I say?Best experience I ever had.My car broke down when I was coming down from Sydney. As soon as I arrive to Melbourne we called Ace mechanics and we were blown away by their amazing service.They sent one of the best mechanics to my hotel and he checked the car out and booked us In for next day repair. (Even it was a sunday)We arrived to the workshop and found a very professional team who did everything to help us out... We wait in the office and were offered coffee and snacks while we wait.They had car hire and we rent one while our car was getting repair. (Very reasonable price.)Same day later on they called us and informed us about the repairs that needed to be done.I have some mechanical knowledge and trust me it was a very honest quote and they fixed my car so we can head back to Sydney.So if you ever looking for a mechanic trustworthy you defenely need to give them a call and they will take care of everything for you.Thanks guys for your support.

My car had been sluggish on hills and I thought a Tune was called for. Greg (mechanic from Ace) took it fir a spin and correctly diagnosed a new clutch was required. I was able to drive the car to Dandenong where the replacement was to happen. What amazing staff at the office. Julie was most helpful and arranged for us to be driven to the Dandenong Shopping Centre whilst the replacement car for us was undergoing maintenance. We were picked up from there later when the loan car was available. Nothing was a trouble for these amazing people. I’m just home from collecting my “new” (feels like it) car. I had problems with my radiator, called them out to have a look, I found out I needed a new one, I booked them to come back but when the time came I couldn't afford it, a week later I had the cash, they were here within 48 hours( 24 of them being Anzac day). They took the price of my initial call out off the overall price, considering there was 3 weeks between visits I thought this was fantastic. Would recommend them to everyone. My car broke down on the way to pick my daughter up from hospital. While I managed to get it back home, my husband called Ace Mechanics to come have a look at it. What we thought was a minor oil leak turned into a major part needing to be replaced. The mechanic Michael was amazing. He showed me what the problem was and explained how it most likely had happened. He advised the cost to fix it upfront and while he could not fix it that day as he was sent the incorrect part, he came back the next day and completed the job. I would highly recommend using Ace Mechanics and would certainly again.

Called Ace Mechanics up after looking online for a new service provider and saw the great reviews, so i had to check them out. Staff were very helpful and informative on prices over the phone and were able to get a driver to me in less than 24 hours.A mechanic named Greg came out and smashed out a whole log book service in just 3 hours, including ordering and fitting new brake pads during the process. He explained everything in detail and gave his personal opinion on what needs work and what doesn't, unlike other mechanics that may do work that is not necessary for the extra cash. Greg also beat the quoted price!Would definitely recommend, as ill be sure to use them again!

What a great way to start my Melbourne holiday. Had to be towed from under the freeway on Montague St. Not knowing the area was a problem and not knowing a decent mechanic or auto electrician was another. A quick call to ACE and they had me booked in for a diagnosis and a fix. It wasn't the alternator or the fuses but a faulty battery. Sometimes it pays to pay a little more to have someone come to you. Especially if it would otherwise involve a tow to a garage in an unfamiliar area. Within half an hour my car was starting reliably. I asked for a vehicle inspection on a car my mother wanted to buy. Ace Mechanics organised an inspection for the next day. The mechanic, Norm gave the car a very thorough inspection, texted me a photo of the written report straight away and rang me to talk me through the issues he had identified. He also went through the issues with the sellers so that by the time I rang them they were already getting them fixed. He was so helpful and friendly, and explain everything so clearly, that my mother can now buy the car with confidence. Let me paint you a picture. It’s two days before Christmas we lost power steering air con and have a family trip to blue mountains (which of course we were driving 10 hours for) Now everyone I speak to is closed can’t get a mechanic in until I speak to ACE Mobile mechanics. In walks the saviour of our family holidays MICHEAL. He arrived Christmas Eve an hour EARLIER then expected I told him the situation and he knew straight away what the problem was and set about sourcing the part. Unfortunately it was not going to happen Christmas Eve ( which happened to also be a Sunday) but Micheal being the professional he is found a solution that ensured we didn’t have to cancel the holiday. He came back out on the 27th ( when part was available) and worked with speed and efficiency to get us on the road on our to our holiday. I can not recommend Ace Mechanics high enough. In particular Micheal was professional polite and dedicated enough to put in the extra effort to help me his customer.
