One of the most professional and friendly mechanics I have had work on my car. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of the employee, but he was super informative and reassuring with my car's circumstances. From the phone call and the booking, it was a great experience. I was squeezed in for a booking and they were very accomodating to come nice and early to ensure the car was ready for the afternoon.Car was running within the first 5 minutes of him arriving and he was kind enough to do a few extra little checks for me. I cannot recommend these services enough. Great work guys. Keep it up!

Absolute pleasure to deal with. Emailed for a quote, Julie rang asap to get details and came up with a price. Booked appointment the next morning at 10am. I used ace electrics for the purpose of wiring in a light bar . ( wiring loom supplied) Even though the job was not completed in the first visit. ( 2hrs) they charged $ 405. Total. The guy who did job said he was having trouble finding a location for the provided switch. On returning at a later date . With a smaller switch to complete the job (within a hour) was then charged another $ 118.00

Although they didn't send around an auto electrician as I specifically requested, the mechanic was excellent and was able to diagnose the issue. He got the car started and has booked me in for follow-up with a sparkie to sort a gremlin in the wiring. Happy with ACE, will definitely use again!

These were the only mechanics able to come out in such short notice, the receptionist Julie was amazing and booked me in with no hassle, as for the mechanic Norm, he is quite the character and fixed my car in no time, easy to deal with and would recommend this service to everyone. Mark was Brilliant and knowledgeable of what happened to the car and required fixing. Gave us a step by step process of what he was going to do so there weren’t any surprises. Car was fixed in the end, very happy result. Mark also advised us he’s a diesel mechanic and is also available to service our car which we didn’t know and is very helpful in the future.Would definitely recommend and use Ace mechanics again.

I was pretty sure the alternator had failed. We stopped off at a battery store and they agreed. It was Friday and we needed to drive it on Sunday. We phoned ACE and made an appointment for Saturday morning. Beni attended and diagnosed the alternator. Unfortunately the only replacement he could arrange on a Saturday morning was $1500 and he estimated around $600 to fit it. I knew where I could get a second hand one for $100 and fitted it myself. Beni was very pleasant and thoroughly competent, I just couldn’t justify that much expenditure. ACE is a great service model with half a dozen 7 day mobile vans and a workshop in Dandenong.

I called ACE Mechanics this morning and spoke to a really friendly person called Scott who was very professional and within an hour or so the mobile mechanic was at my door.His name was Sam, and he was a beautiful respectful man with a bright and friendly manner. He was very professional and fixed my problem efficiently, he had an impeccable customer service approach, very informative and helpful and I can’t say anything negative about my experience as I am extremely happy with the service that was given. I rang ACE Mechanics for an issue with a car locking system. Ali actually came earlier than promised, let me know when he was on his way and was thoroughly pleasant to deal with. I called up to get a quote for installation of a 12 pin trailer plug, anderson plug and change of 2 brake lights. They were able to book me in quickly and knew exactly what I was after.

The auto electrician was on time, very polite and gave me a quote within the first 15mins. The price was very appropriate and was capped to include everything; parts, labour, call out fee, wiring, ect, so even though he spent half the day on my car, including testing, it didn't cost me any extra. I was very happy that he took the time to make sure the job was done properly and 100%.

I happily recommend this company and if I need anything else auto, I will be giving them a call.

Discovered it could not be fixed in my driveway, discussed the next steps, arranged towing and the car was taken soon after. Received a phone call early the next morning, problem solved. The pipe to our coolant reservoir snapped a day before we were due to go on a road trip. Ace Mechanics were able to source the part before travelling to us and fix the issue within an hour. Customer service was helpful and communication was great - especially necessary when trying to get a car repair within a high-rise apartment car park. Pricing was reasonable considering the emergency and the part was sourced cheaper than we expected. All in a fantastic service from Ace Mechanics - if you’re in a tough spot you can trust them to help.

My Christmas present to myself was a new fuel pump and all the bits that go with it. I can’t recommend the team from Ace Mechanics highly enough for such fast, friendly and professional service. From my (not quite) crying call on Sunday morning to the towie on Monday afternoon and the crew at the workshop in Dandenong today, I have had nothing to worry about.

I said that I’m back at work tomorrow and they went all out to make sure I could start on time. What’s not to live?

Highly recommend Ace Mobile Mechanics.
Prompt service to attend, Sam determined the problem within a couple of minutes, because of his knowledge and that he listened.
Other mechanics we had look at the problem, could not detect the issues.
Took the car to their Dandenong Depot. They worked on it straight away, and it was ready to be collected by the close of business the same day.
Impressive considering the repair needed.
Will use Ace Mechanics again.

This is my second experience with Ace Mechanics. And this time I specifically asked for Sam, the mechanic who looked after me last time. Great, honest Bloke. Very skilled mechanic. Unfortunately, some miscommunication happened during the booking process and they sent out Stan instead. Now I think Stan knew I had requested Sam, yet for whatever reason the company sent him anyway. I asked Stan where Sam was, he told me Sam was busy with other jobs. I said of course he is, he's a great mechanic. Stan then subtely tried to convince me to stick with him. He told me that he'd been a mechanic for a very long time with this company and that Sam(my preference) was still very new. Implying I should choose him over Sam. I politely asked for the mishap to be fixed and that I would like Sam to be the man who looks after my vehicles and if he's busy, I am happy to wait for him to fit me in wherever. Sam came nice and early the next morning and again provided me with top class service and a good chat too. So once again, thanks Ace and a BIG thanks to Sam!!

Incredible service! Sam is your guy!! I had problem with my Car & I couldn’t get it started. I was unable to move it so I was stuck. I went to two other workshops which didn’t wanted to help me, not even with the towing. Then I called Ace mechanics & I was lucky that I got help from the right guy, Sam! It’s so convenient to get mobile service so I didn’t have to worry about towing, also they showed up the same day! It turned out that it was a problem with my key & that I needed a new one. I got one from a locksmith but the locksmith f**ked it up even worse. Luckily Sam knew how to deal with this problem so he could arrange a new key for me & program it correctly! Now my car is working again & I couldn’t be more happy about it! Many thanks to Sam & Ace mechanics!! I saved a lot of many & stress thanks to their service!

What can I say?
Best experience I ever had.
My car broke down when I was coming down from Sydney. As soon as I arrive to Melbourne we called Ace mechanics and we were blown away by their amazing service.
They sent one of the best mechanics to my hotel and he checked the car out and booked us In for next day repair. (Even it was a sunday)
We arrived to the workshop and found a very professional team who did everything to help us out... We wait in the office and were offered coffee and snacks while we wait.
They had car hire and we rent one while our car was getting repair. (Very reasonable price.)
Same day later on they called us and informed us about the repairs that needed to be done.
I have some mechanical knowledge and trust me it was a very honest quote and they fixed my car so we can head back to Sydney.
So if you ever looking for a mechanic trustworthy you defenely need to give them a call and they will take care of everything for you.

My car had been sluggish on hills and I thought a Tune was called for. Greg (mechanic from Ace) took it fir a spin and correctly diagnosed a new clutch was required. I was able to drive the car to Dandenong where the replacement was to happen. What amazing staff at the office. Julie was most helpful and arranged for us to be driven to the Dandenong Shopping Centre whilst the replacement car for us was undergoing maintenance. We were picked up from there later when the loan car was available. Nothing was a trouble for these amazing people.
I’m just home from collecting my “new” (feels like it) car.
Brilliant service from really caring office staff.

My car broke down on the way to pick my daughter up from hospital. While I managed to get it back home, my husband called Ace Mechanics to come have a look at it. What we thought was a minor oil leak turned into a major part needing to be replaced. The mechanic Michael was amazing. He showed me what the problem was and explained how it most likely had happened. He advised the cost to fix it upfront and while he could not fix it that day as he was sent the incorrect part, he came back the next day and completed the job. Called Ace Mechanics up after looking online for a new service provider and saw the great reviews, so i had to check them out. Staff were very helpful and informative on prices over the phone and were able to get a driver to me in less than 24 hours.
A mechanic named Greg came out and smashed out a whole log book service in just 3 hours, including ordering and fitting new brake pads during the process. He explained everything in detail and gave his personal opinion on what needs work and what doesn't, unlike other mechanics that may do work that is not necessary for the extra cash.
Greg also beat the quoted price!

What a great way to start my Melbourne holiday. Had to be towed from under the freeway on Montague St. Not knowing the area was a problem and not knowing a decent mechanic or auto electrician was another. A quick call to ACE and they had me booked in for a diagnosis and a fix. It wasn't the alternator or the fuses but a faulty battery. Sometimes it pays to pay a little more to have someone come to you. Especially if it would otherwise involve a tow to a garage in an unfamiliar area. Within half an hour my car was starting reliably. George keeps us regularly updated with the progress of his work, which he always completes promptly. I asked for a vehicle inspection on a car my mother wanted to buy. Ace Mechanics organised an inspection for the next day. The mechanic, Norm gave the car a very thorough inspection, texted me a photo of the written report straight away and rang me to talk me through the issues he had identified. He also went through the issues with the sellers so that by the time I rang them they were already getting them fixed. He was so helpful and friendly, and explain everything so clearly, that my mother can now buy the car with confidence. Everyone that I have dealt with at Ace Mechanics has been friendly, helpful and efficient. I highly recommend them.

Let me paint you a picture. It’s two days before Christmas we lost power steering air con and have a family trip to blue mountains (which of course we were driving 10 hours for) Now everyone I speak to is closed can’t get a mechanic in until I speak to ACE Mobile mechanics. In walks the saviour of our family holidays MICHEAL. He arrived Christmas Eve an hour EARLIER then expected I told him the situation and he knew straight away what the problem was and set about sourcing the part. Unfortunately it was not going to happen Christmas Eve ( which happened to also be a Sunday) but Micheal being the professional he is found a solution that ensured we didn’t have to cancel the holiday.

He came back out on the 27th ( when part was available) and worked with speed and efficiency to get us on the road on our to our holiday.

I can not recommend Ace Mechanics high enough. In particular Micheal was professional polite and dedicated enough to put in the extra effort to help me his customer.

Our alternator died on new years eve! Our mechanic's away on holidays.
Tod came. Very efficient polite and friendly even when he had to go back to base to get a different model of the part. Fixed our problem at a reasonable cost too (cheaper than another quote from well-known service)
I was wary about using a mobile service but now have no hesitation using ACE again

My Honda CRV starter motor went just before Xmas. No local mechanics were willing to fix it as the had broken up for Xmas.

I had loaned my car to a friend and it had come back with no brake pads! Like two stones grinding... It was horrible. Ace were quick to the mark arriving on the same day as I called. Paul was wonderful to deal with - along with fixing the break pads he pointed out a few other issues that I should look into in the future, which I kind of already knew about, but was hoping he wouldn't notice. I am fed up with different mechanics I have tried before. My car cranks but would not start. All the previous mechanics did some makeover and made the car start for a day or two and it stops working the other day. They didn't find the actual problem. Then I rang to ACE mechanics and Greg was appointed for me. Greg is an awesome car doctor, he inspected the car for like 15 mins and find the actual problem. Moreover, they gave me a discount on the price quoted. Thanks to Greg and ACE mechanics. I would recommend Greg to any of my friends happily.

I was happy with the job by the mechanic. He was friendly and helpful as he came to my location on a Saturday morning, diagnosed the problem with the alternator which RACV battery replacement missed, then drove to another suburb to pick up the part my car needed and installed in time for the journey I had to make that day. The price was maybe slightly higher than I had been hoping to pay but then again understandable given the messing around to source the part.

Dealt with Michael with my pride and joy ride and he was so careful with it and made sure he did not scratch it or leave finger prints. A quick call to their friendly staff and Norm was at my house within 30 minutes. What’s super bloke he is. He didn’t mind finishing off the job that I clearly couldn’t complete. I contacted Ace Mechanics via their website, they rang me back straight away and arranged a time and day. On the day we booked I got a phonecall to say that the mechanic was on his way and George turned up right when he said he would. My Subaru Forester needed a replacement part but after calling around to three Subaru dealers George was having no luck getting them to respond with price or availability. Rather than stand around waiting for return phonecalls George went to the dealership himself and rang me once he knew the price to make sure I wanted to go ahead. Once I gave the go ahead the car was fixed within the hour. George was friendly and helpful and kept me informed about what was happening every step of the way.

I arranged a pre-purchase vehicle inspection through Ace Mechanics. An appointment was made for the following morning and Tod turned up on time and with a great attitude. He conducted a very thorough inspection of the van I was hoping to purchase, alerting me to signs of previous accident damage, road worthiness issues and major engine problems. Tod's advice played a major role in helping me avoid purchasing a real lemon. Money well spent in my view.

We called up Sunday afternoon for mechanic to come look at our car, happily got scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Unfortunately the mechanic was running late by more than 15 minutes, so needed to reschedule for the following morning. The mechanic (Greg) was absolutely amazing however and diagnoised, procured the parts and fixed up our car in a jiffy. My car was stranded at work. I was concerned with how much the repair would cost and wasn't looking forward to spending the next week or two riding the bus to and from work. The team at Ace mechanics sent out a technician to assess and quote for the repair. I needed to get my new car serviced for the first time (1 year service) and I called the dealer and asked what the service included that warranted a cost of $749 and he could not tell me which was very puzzling? He ended up sending me a photo of a service sheet from another car and I thought this seemed very unprofessional for a well know car company.

I asked some friends what they thought and they suggested I use Ace Mobile Mechanics as they can service your car at your work place. I thought this would void the warranty but I did some research and discovered that it does not, even though the dealers would have you think so.

Anyway, I called ACE, they came to my work place two days later, did the service all while I was at work, no need to take time off to go to the dealer!

Michael the mechanic really new his stuff and explained everything to me. Wish I had of know about this service years ago. Thanks ACE!

Had my car serviced & the mechanic was polite, professional & did a fantastic job. I was not only happy with the great service he gave my car but as an unexpected bonus, he was able to replace my wiper pump that hasn't worked for nearly 5yrs!!
