Had a problem I thought was starter motor or battery, googled mobile service repairs and came across ACE Mechanics.
I called at around 10am and explained I had to be in the city for an appointment by 11.30am.
ACE arranged for a mechanic to be on site around 11.30 which meant I wouldn’t be home.
I advised I would leave my key in the letter box, putting faith in someone I didn’t know that my car wouldn’t be stollen.
The mechanic called as soon as he was on site and ran a diagnostic that confirmed I needed a new battery.
They talked me through pricing and I agreed to go ahead.
Arrived home that afternoon and car was as good as new.
Would highly recommend ACE for their service and honesty.

Couldn't be happier with the service. They came out to me, removed the alarm and had everything working in no time. Friendly, professional, and really knows what he's doing. Took longer than expected which pushed the price up slightly but still a good price considering the are a mobile auto electrician

recommendsI recently had ACE perform a vehicle inspection on a Ford Ranger at a dealership. The mechanic Will was thorough and provided a detailed report. As usual he found some issues and even called me to discuss in detail. The feedback from Will and follow up call was excellent, which resulted in the dealership correcting all the issues, even if they were only minor.
If you’re buying a used vehicle, I would highly recommend to use ACE. This is my second time using them and they always have our interest in mind. Great service. Big 5 STARS and a big thanks to Will.

recommendsI had a mobile ACE mechanic come to get a car started and serviced after it had been sitting in weather for two years and I was hugely impressed with Osman from the Port Melb branch who worked for longer than he had expected, even in the rain at one point, but he did a brilliant job. The car runs like it was new! Very impressed. I definitely recommend them.

recommendsNorman came from Ace mechanics this morning to diagnose a failure to start on my '78 Lancia Beta Spyder. He showed great empathy for an old car like mine as he has his own old car collection. when through the car like an old school mechanic and diagnosed a fuel pump problem after eliminating an electrical issue. All done in a dimly lit basement car park. Quick too. A great job.
