What a fantastic service!! Cannot thank the mechanic, Steve, enough for his work. I went through RACV to help fix the problem with my car, when it wouldn’t start one morning, and after they inspected it, we were told that they needed to send out a mechanic. Later that day, ACE mechanics sent out Steve and he very quickly knew that my petrol pump had gone, and it needed replacing. He did, however, need to order a particular kind of pump, as he did not have one with him. Steve ordered the part that day and was back the following morning to install the new pump, and the car was up and running, and I have had no problems since. I am extremely happy with the service provided and would definitely recommend. Thanks again Steve, great work!

We have used George from Ace Mechanics twice now and couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He is transparent with his quoting, professional and competent. I don’t think there is anything he can’t fix. The first time we used him to replace a starter motor on a Honda Odyssey. It was a HUGE job, as it entailed removing the entire engine/manifold. He did this efficiently all in the convenience of our home garage. As well as costing way less than the dealer, we also saved on expensive towing fees. The second time, we needed a new alternator. Again the cost was WAY less than the dealer’s quote, plus we saved on towing fees. He has also done a couple of services for us. We will continue to use him for repairs and maintenance as we know that he is thorough, honest and reliable.

Ask for Steve – he is super reliable, honest and a car fixy genius 🙂 Steve has provided at home car servicing twice: once when I was in a total jam with the engine steaming up and unable to move from underground carpark. Any other mechanic would say “head gasket, $2k thanks” but Steve was honest and showed me the crack in the hose that needed replacing. I then booked him for a scheduled service, he came over on a Sunday at my convenience for no additional cost. I’ve referred him to two of my friends who are also delighted with the service.
